I've always been creative, be it art, writing or using my imagination. As a child in the 1980's, a prized possession of mine was one of those old fashioned tape recorders, with big, chunky buttons. I’d spend hours in my bedroom, making up my own TV and radio voice overs, reading the “news” and recording messages on cassette tape for pen friends. I still have some of those early recordings!
In 2008, whilst working for an
e-commerce business, I realised I enjoyed recording the voiceovers for product videos so much, it reignited that early spark and I decided to pursue Voiceover as a career. The irony!
I invested in some voiceover training which included being directed in a studio by Peter Dickson (The X Factor Voice) and online courses via Gravy for the Brain. I am committed to my Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as a voiceover artist. I'm a proud member of The Voiceover Network.
Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, I am able to work remotely with clients all around the world from my own home studio, where I can record to my heart's content.
